An Appeal to Rev

पर आपकी प्रतिक्रिया TV पर देखी एवं फटकार भी सुनी which, instead of showing me a way forward. has left me - and perhaps many other Indians - confused. Hereby, my Lord, I p...ray to you to show us the right way by explaining and dispelling misgivings, if any, in adhering to the rich heritage of Indian/Hindu traditions of which all Indians have forever been so proud.

Kindly enlighten the Indian Society by commenting on the following traditions and practices that have been in vogue since
1.      In a society where we have traditionally likened virtuous persons with God/gods and goddesses (eg, अतिथि देवो भव) and have no issues with individuals named after God/gods (ईश्वर. दुर्गा, पार्वती...), why is a harmlessly inspiring slogan like 'हर हर मोदी....' singularly so sinful as to invite Rev Jagadguru Shankaracharya's ire?

Swami Vivekanand went around the world proudly singing: ‘अहम् ब्रह्मास्मि' thereby highlighting the philosophy of अद्वैतवाद - the divine oneness/closeness of Soul and the Creator (आत्मा-परमात्मा ).

3.      It is an established practice in the Judiciary to address judges by halloing them in virtual divine beings (My Lord/MeLord).

India is changing but there are forces at work trying to hold it back.  We are struggling to come out of the quagmire of a self-serving polity, rampant corruption, callous administration and communal rivalry that has always been used by Congress and its allies to arouse passions that destroy the cohesion in the society, impede development, impair security, retard economy and worst of all - perpetuate poverty under the guise of subsidies food and freebies. The more they clamour for welfare of the poor and minorities, the more they pull these very beneficiaries away from self-reliance and prosperity. Perpetuating poverty serves their vested interests better than eradication of poverty.  Election to election, they invest in poverty to maintain the status quo of their vote bank!
Modi has a proven record of great accomplishments.  He is a doer. He is coming with a resolve to alter this status quo.  Bless him, my Lord! Maybe his shift from the communally emotive agenda of ‘Ram Mandir’ has angered the Hindu bigots who, rather than admiring his agenda of ‘holistic development’ - सम्पूर्ण राष्ट्र् का सामुहिक विकास – are unnecessarily irate.  It is time all Indians rose together as a united Nation – irrespective of caste, creed, religion or region to accomplish a common goal for universal good under the able leadership of a visionary – Narendra Modi.
Beware of the anti-Modi propaganda whipping communal mistrust by raising issues already settled and buried in history. Congress and Modi-detractors are driving looking into the rear view mirror because their front view is obscured by Family promotion posters and coal scams. Their crash is imminent.  May they rest in peace!

 With best regards,
